今天，筆者看到一張關於球童小費定價的圖片，一張貼在球車方向盤上的紙條寫著：單包200元，一對二300元，一對三或四400元。

單包的意思，就是一名球童服務一名球員，一對二就是一名球童服務兩名球員（雙包），一對三或四就是一名球童服務三到四名球員。筆者經過確認，這張紙條的出處是北京某中高端球場，平日打球價格1000元左右。

這張紙條很有意思，將球童小費明碼標價，和打球費用一樣公開透明，且具有強制性，顛覆了多年以來中國高爾夫球童小費“100元”走天下的默認行情價。有必要提一句這張紙條的背景：疫情導致北京大多數球場的球童數量不足，球童突然成為“稀缺資源”，球童身價上漲也就順水推舟了。

有必要說一下中國大多數球童的收入構成：底薪+出場費+小費。底薪通常很低，基本就是所在城市的最新工資；出場費每次幾十元到一百多元不等，這兩項加起來通常也不如小費這一項收入多。假設一名球童底薪1200元，每月出場25次，每次出場費80元，每次小費150元，他每月的稅前收入是6950元。

筆者詢問了一名在北京從業多年的球童，他表示小費收入占到了60%左右。上海一家高端球會的球童主管表示，該球會的球童小費占球童總收入的70%左右。這就是球童為什麽那麽在乎小費是100元還是200元的原因。

“現在物價都漲成什麽樣了，球童小費也該漲了！”這是一個特別能代表球童群體的觀點。大多數球友才能理解球童的辛苦和不易。不過，十多年報酬原地踏步的行業其實也有不少，比如媒體行業的稿費、比如中國的股市……有球友還說呢，我也十多年沒漲工資了，我不也只能接受嘛。

Today I saw a note on golf cart's steering said single tip - 200RMB, 1vs2 tip - 300RMB, 1vs3 or 4 - 400RMB. Single caddie serves one golfer with 200RMB tips, 1vs2 means one caddie serves two golfers and the tip for the group is 300RMB. 1vs 3 or 4 said one caddie serves 3 or 4 golfers and the group pays 400RMB for tips. 1 USD is about 7RMB in recent rate.

This is interesting! The tips are officialize on numbers. It is kind of stupid as the tips mean you pay the service with the amount. It supposed to be flexible on the amount based on the service quality you receive. At the same time, it changes the traditional caddie's tip on 100RMB rule.

Well, let me address the note's background, since coronavirus pandemic in Beijing, it makes the shortage of caddie for most of golf courses, the caddies become important resource in Beijing's golf courses. That's why the caddie's tips are raised.

It's important to bring up the income details of golf caddie in China. It's consisted of basic pay + paid per round + tips. The basic pay is low as it's pretty much the same as basic hour rate in each city. Paid per round is less than 100RAM. These two pays are not as good as tips.

Let me give you an example, the basic pay of a caddie is 1200RMB, he has 25 rounds per month and each round is 80RMB, each round of the tips is 150RMB, as a result, this caddie's gross income before tax is 6950RAM.

I have checking some caddies worked in Beijing's golf courses, the tips are occupied around 60% of his income. I interview with one manager worked for a luxury golf course in Shanghai city, the caddie's tips are occupied 70% of the income. You are able to realize the importance of tips for a caddie's income.

Nowadays most of things are increased the prices compared 10 years ago. The income and tips are no change at all for the caddies. I think most of jobs' the salary are still the same as 10 years ago. That's why they are asking for raising.
