大家打球都會有自己拿手和罩門的桿子。對我來說，拿手的就是木桿和推桿，罩門應該要算200碼上下的桿子，因為這個距離我可以用3木也可以用5木達到。但有時候就是會不穩定。不穩定在於時不時會被風或地形給影響最後的結果，所以不見得可以一次上果嶺。這就是我比較頭痛的地方。

以200碼的距離來說，我習慣用3木，因為就算打紮實了也不會過太多。因為我的3木目前的距離大致在200～210碼，比以前要短了10碼左右。但穩定性算要比以前好很多。所以距離短10碼我是可以接受。不過我的三木的彈道會比較平。最多中彈道，抗風性比較好，所以往往會滾過頭。

這也是我有時候會帶上五木來用。當然五木的彈道就是高彈道，但有時候會被風吹導致距離會短一點。但就算短，也比用小雞腿要穩定。我用小雞腿進攻，在春、秋和冬天時，起風，距離就會被吹的東倒西歪。五木會影響距離在10碼左右。也就是最多落在果嶺邊或果嶺前。

這樣的狀況是可以接受。這也是我喜歡打三木的原因。畢竟我們不是選手或大砲，可以用鐵桿就打到200碼距離。這樣的狀況對於多數業餘球友來說會是比較棘手的問題和狀況。我也比較和其他球友的狀況。大家在這個距離的發揮都是比較容易被地形和天氣所影響。要上果嶺的難度會比鐵桿要高很多！尤其是三桿洞，中間有水池，這樣壓力就更大！

另外一個比較麻煩，但可以解決的狀況就是在60～100碼的距離。對我來說，在60碼內的距離，基本就是挖起桿52度就可以解決。但在超過60到100碼，我的52度挖起桿如果全揮桿的話，彈道高，被風影響也比較大。所以往往都會打短。雖然打的紮實，但結果卻不盡理想。

I believe everyone has it's pros and cons on the golf clubs, to me I am good at driver and putter, but the short is on the fairway woods with 200 yards distance. With this distance I can use 3W and 5W to deliver but the winds and green design will make the ball land short all the time.

My 3W can get 200~210 yards. I was able to make it 210 in average but recent 3 years the distance becomes short. However the accuracy is better than before. The issue for my 3 wood is the trajectory, it's mid trajectory that will always roll too much in the end. That's why I have 5W to play instead of 3W.

Although 5W is high trajectory but sometimes the distance will fall short due to the winds particularly in Winter and spring seasons. If I play hybrid, the distance falls shorter than 5W. That's why I don't play hybrid as it's not consistent on the distance. The 3W and 5W are my best solutions for 200 yards without question.

We are not big powerful golfers who have big body and muscles for driving the ball long. To drive 200 yards for average golfers becomes the difficulty and uncertainty. For most of golfers they prefer to play hybrid as it's similar with iron and shorter length setup, but my situation, I prefer fairway woods than hybrid as the fact is more consistent on the distance.

The other problem with the distance of 60 to 100 yards, I am able to take care of the distance within 60 yards for my 52 loft wedge. However, the distance 60 to 100 yards with my wedge full swing will make it short in practical result. Since my trajectory is high and sometimes, the distance will be landed around 80 yards before the green. That's frustrating!
