這幾年來，越來越多的碳纖維鐵桿桿身陸續上市，也得到不少球友的喜好和認同。我也有一些球友私下問我；我到底需不需要換碳纖維鐵桿身？其實每個人的問題和需求都不一樣。不能說一個簡單的答案！所以我會用下面的一些想法來分析和評斷，是否需要用碳纖維的桿身？

第一個重點是，你是否需要更多的距離？因為現在打球越來越熱，對於體力和身體運作揮桿動作是相對比較高。而球桿的設定和產品材質選擇就決定，你能否可以輕鬆、容易去控制發揮你的身體力量。如果你和我都需要距離，同時，年紀也跨過40，你會有需求要維持應有的距離。

第二，你是否都固定打一兩個球場？這很重要，因為你固定打一兩個球場，打熟也可以打到單差的程度，同時也是固定打白梯，那基本對於距離也需球有限。這樣就不要白忙！相對，如果你喜歡挑戰不同球場，也會跟球隊到處去打不同球場，而且會想挑戰更遠的梯台？這時候距離就變得很重要。

第三也是我上面提到的，球桿的負擔可以越少越好，而碳纖維桿身的優勢在於重量和距離。但球桿使用變得更加輕鬆簡單，你的成績和表現就更加可控。千萬別小看這個部分的效果。多數人都不在意球桿的規格和使用操控能力。都專注在選很牛和新的材質上，但可以讓你打出好球是適合的球桿規格。

最後一個觀點在於，如果你是全揮桿的話，那就是要衝距離的桿子。而這樣的桿子就需要利用碳纖維材質的優勢來得到最好的結果。所以，全揮桿要讓你可以發揮距離和身體力量，碳纖維會比鋼管桿身要輕鬆容易多了。別嘴我！一定有人會說鋼管桿身也有100g一下的重量，我一樣可以打得虎虎生風。

There are many graphite iron shafts coming out in recent years and having good feedback from the golfers. I have been asking and consulting regarding the graphite iron shaft, do I need to reshaft to graphite iron shafts for my irons? Well, every one has different demands, situation and mission for golf, it's not easy to give you the simple answer for that.

First of all, I always ask golfer very simple and direct question: do you need the distance (more distance than what your current irons)? Nowadays the weather is getting hot and it is taking more energy to make the swing. With that task, your golf clubs need to be simple and easy to swing for making the good swing. Therefore, if you need more distance or age over 40, you will have the demand for maintaining or getting more distance for iron play then graphite shaft is the right product for you to consider.

Second of all, if you always play two or three golf courses, you do not need to make your game complex and are familiar with the strategy to get the good score. On the other hand, if you like to challenge different courses, you need to upgrade your golf gears for better performance, consistency and easier to swing. Or you like to play longer yardage, the distance is absolutely needed then graphite shafts are the one for you to consider.

Number three, to make your swing simple, easy and consistent, graphite shaft is good for you to reduce the difficulty of working the golf swing. It will certainly help you get better performance on the score. Most golfers don't pay attention on the golf club specification, but it plays critical factor for you to perform better and consistent. Graphite shaft can help with no doubt.

Finally, if you make your irons for full swing that means you need the distance and accuracy, The high grade carbon fiber material can reduce the spin rate, increase the ball speed and deliver longer distance.
