Harbor Links Golf Course!~上集

球季開始後，讓自己可以固定每1.5週都可以去打一場球，來恢復打球的節奏。疫情開始就沒有這樣打了，現在恢復固定打球後就真的很舒服和爽快。當然球技也會越來越好。有打有差。從4月開始打球，鐵桿和短桿都還沒有恢復，但從最近2場球下來，鐵桿和短桿的穩定性也逐漸找回來。所以現在打球就比較輕鬆和愜意。

這次打長島的球場，朋友約球就去打了，一來沒有打過，二來是links的風格，這類球場打的也比較少。從家裡出發約30分鐘，星期六早上10:40開球。這個球場是靠海邊，風景很不錯，天氣舒服，打球的好天。在紐約打球很多球場可以選，而皇后區可以到長島區打，長島有各種球場風格，也有PGA比賽等級的場子。30分鐘的車程可以選擇的球場實在很多。

以前住德州和佛羅里達州過，球場風格都一致，打下來真的會膩。在紐約可以享受各種風格的球場，打不膩，可以去上州打球、跑遠一點可以去紐澤西去打。但在車程30內，長島和Bronx或上州都可以。這個球場是這個鎮經營，所以住戶可以有優惠，因為有一位韓國大媽熟我的朋友，固定都會邀請我朋友來打球，大媽一次都會買很多球票，所以價格比官網上要便宜一半（含球車）。

今天也是Raymond邀請，同組和一位馬來西亞華人，韓國大媽一組。這裡韓國人都是狠角色，大媽是主場，球技也了得。都是會打球的高手，打下來真的順利、舒服。這個球場沒有樹林，都是草叢，和比賽的links風格一樣，進去樹叢基本就不可能出來，第一洞，開球就拉左進樹叢。樹叢真的找不到，但找到不少球。簡單說，這個球場要準度，距離倒是還好。

早上10前到，稍微練一下球，木桿、球道木、7鐵都各3個球，就下場。練習場風格和德州一樣是開放式，有墊子，我不喜歡打草皮，會傷桿面。今天我們打白tee約6500碼，算長的球場，黑tee就7000碼。現在的天在紐約打球最好，天氣不會太熱，風是涼的，坐球車打都不太會流汗。但這個球場最好要坐車打不然會累死！

Golf season is arrived, I have been trying to play golf every 1.5 weeks since April. During the pandemic, it's hard to play golf regularly and now things are back to normal. Now my irons and short games are getting better based on more plays. Now it's the best time to play golf in New York, the wether is so good and it's not hot at all with winds.

This time my friend Raymond invites to play a link golf course in long island. Of course, I take it without hesitation since links are not many and it's good for me to play such course. it takes about 30 minutes from my place and we have booked 10:40am tee time. It's lovely weather for golfing. In Queens and long island, there are many golf courses you can play.

You can go to Bronx, up state and Brooklyn to play, there are tons of courses to choose within 60 minutes driving. This course is operated by local town and the residential has the discount for purchasing. The friend of Raymond has purchased many and asks friends to play. The fee is about half of regular.

We have foursome to play, one is Korean woman who is living in this town, Raymond and the other male golfer, they are all good in golf for over 30 years golfing. The turf grasses are used on fairways, greens, and rough..." There are some waters on the fairways and greens to make your shot tough and get damaged.

You are able to see elevation changes, split fairways, blind shots and speedy greens in this course. The correct path to the green is often difficult to determine without course experience. Luckily I have friends to be my navigator for the strategy and play. Newsday has ranked it among the Island's best public courses. I have no doubt for that!
