Ridgeview Ranch golf course練習場！

今天再開箱一家練習場，也是在我住的附近，開車一樣是10分就可以到。大約5公里距離。今天天氣不錯，只有75度/25度左右。風吹起來涼涼的，非常舒服。當然抓住這樣的好天，去練習場練一下。也是在google 地圖上找我附近的練習場，當然也是球場。這邊的球場都會有練習場，所以很容易找。

這次的Ridgeview Ranch 球場也和上次Plantation差不多，都是停車場和練習場相連。所以很方便來練球。很典型的美國球場風格。不像亞洲的球場，做的大氣豪奢。就是一個會所加餐廳和賣店。簡單卻麻雀雖小五臟俱全。這球場買完球是給你籃子到外面的球箱去撈球。自助式拿球，和其他球場是裝好交給你，或有自動出球機，自己拿。

我個人偏向用這類的方式，因為可以裝多一些。就是比較爽！球位大概20個而已，不多。很在地的氛圍。這類球場多半以附近居民為主，鄰家球場風格。球是Strata的練習球。球窩風格比較像比賽球，球的飛行風格比較低平，不會衝高，像比賽球。和其他Wilson， Pinnacle，Taylormade練習球比較，這款球會在中間硬度。但性能上也不錯。

當然今天風阻好像沒有很大，所以球也很能飛，打起來比較爽。球速都有出來。視野上也算長方形的深度形狀，看球比較清楚和容易。落地的球感動效果真的不錯。在亞洲的球場我的球都不大會滾，但在美國就超能滾。一來這邊球場有壓過，所以土不會軟。再來就是草種好。所以效果上會比較好。

旁邊的切球區是一個砲台式果嶺設計，比較像在球場切球的狀況，所以練了約40顆球，不同位置和距離來練切法和技巧。另外推桿果嶺有打洞過，所以球的滾動就會跳也不在路線上。就推幾下就收工撤了。這個球場也在我的選擇服務，Planation比較多小孩，這裡也有但就2～3個，而且都是10歲以上的年紀。所以感覺這場子比較大人風格。

打位也是有墊子和直接在草皮上打。都是和Plantation一樣。這兩個都是我會再造訪的球場。也會逐一去打過。現在天氣都不錯，除了熱外，打球的人也不少。我會持續開箱德州的球場和練習場和大家分享。如果有在這附近都可以相約打球。交換球場資訊。增加一個名單裡的球場了。

It's good weather with 75 degree and would like to go to the driving range to keep up my swing. This time I pick Ridgeview Ranch golf course which is about 4 miles from my place with 10 minutes driving. It's very convenient for me and similar with last time Plantation golf course. There are all similar style with local golf course and driving range for serving local golfers.

The parking lot is linked with the driving range and would not take too long time and walk to driving range hitting spot. The club house and pro shops are the same, this time it's self loading the range balls after you make the purchase. I like this way as you can load as many balls as you can within the basket. There are three different purchasing approaches for range balls with various driving ranges.

The golf course staff will load the balls to you with your purchase, the second is you get the ticket then go to the vending machine to get the balls by entering the tick number. The third one is like this time, they give you the basket then you go out to load the balls by yourself. This driving range's range ball is Strata and The compression is in between Wilson (soft) and Callaway (hard).

The ball speed is good with dimple are around 300 and low trajectory. I prefer this ball with tournament performance. The range is long with good view for the ball flighting. You can hit it on the mat or on the turf. The chipping green is designed like true green with higher terrain, you will need to make your short game more accurate on the landing. I have been chipping over 20 minutes with various distance and spots for practiving.

Comparing with Plantation golf course, this golf course has less hitting spot for driving range and not many kids to play and practice today. It's like the adult golf course for this neighborhood. Plantation is fit for kids and adult golfers. I prefer this course and will play again for sure in near future. Since the ball quality is good and not many golfers overall. The price is about $1 expensive than others for small basket. I will keep checking other golf course and driving range. It's fun and good to share with the golfers.
