對我個人來說，我自己的經驗，現在不會怕那種3～5步的推桿距離。因為比較有信心和能力去推進。原因在於桿子對，我才能去控制我的身體去做到最穩定的推擊。當然推進的比例不只要動作和桿子對，還有判別果嶺的地形，草紋等因素。

而果嶺判別必須建立在你有對的桿子和自己個人化的推法。讓你的身體可以用最舒服和最容易的方式去推，而桿子不會造成你的使用負擔。你認為這樣簡單嗎？但多數球友都達不到這個簡單要求。都是改變自己推法，或動作在配合球桿，不然就是球桿讓你使用產生更多負擔和失誤。

因為很多時候，你推不進，不是你判別果嶺錯誤，而是你觸球不是方正或觸球角度不正確，導致滾動性不好等。常常會看到一些朋友，推的路徑正確，但就是缺臨門一腳，在洞口前就停下來。如果你可以選對桿頭和配置適合的規格，那結果就會不一樣！

我覺得一般球友要學會如何判別果嶺，可以先從提問開始。球僮基本就是最好的果嶺判別的老師。他們天天看，球場也有教要如何判別果嶺。而問他們比較準確。比如順、逆、側草紋，果嶺速度、地形起伏、上下坡轉折點等。

但不要問要推哪個位置或點。給答案不會幫你學會果嶺判別的能力。而是你要用你自己的思考和方式去落實推桿路徑。累積一定的時間和經驗後，你就知道要如何去判別果嶺，和找出自己的正確路徑來。這也是我推桿，最多請球僮幫我擦球。路徑和判別我自己來。

To me, I am not afraid of 3 to 5 steps distance for putting. Since I have better confident to put in and ability to handle my putting swing and club. As I always said all the clubs when you grip it, it needs to give you the confidence and you can trust it to perform the best. At the same time , when you play it, you can handle it well without difficulty.

As a result, with right putter, swing, reading green are the keys to allow you make the good put. Most golfers are trying to build its reading green ability but without having right putter and building the right putting swing. Most golfer are worked with the putter and some of the putts are close to get in the hole, it's not golfer's problem, its your putter issue to miss the put.

The wrong putter will make you hard to make the put. It will generate more mistakes and miss putts. Since the putter is not fit you and you need to work hard to fit putter. That's the main issue for most of golfers.

That's why most of golfers make right putting path but it doesn't get in the hole. You might think the putter is ok to handle but if you want to make good put without having such result, you must consider all the details of the putter specification such as face loft, face grooves, material and lie angle.

Do not think it's not related or not important. That's the reasons that could not make your have good ending on the green. If you are serious golfers, you need to be details for all the things. That's how professional golfers are doing.
