Covid 19對高爾夫的影響/Covid Impact : goods shortage！

從2020開始，Covid19席捲全球，對大家和生活影響極大。目前看起來這個狀況短期也沒有好轉，尤其病毒的升級，讓疫苗要打不停。對高爾夫的影響？打球其實是好的方式來避免人群聚集，而且開放的空間對於病毒也不容易感染。所以從去年開始高爾夫的人群就不斷的成長。至少在美國是如此，大家投入高爾夫的熱情和購買是持續增加。

這樣狀況對於高爾夫所有裝備和工具的生產商和品牌商，是進補加血的最好機會。不過除了貨運的問題外，目前還有原料短缺狀況。所以現在你訂球桿、配件和高爾夫球，都會面臨到缺貨或出貨時間要一個月以上狀況。我今年和Taylormade、Titleist、Callaway訂購一些球桿的狀況都需要等。除非我有庫存一些球桿。客人就必須要有佛心的等待。

我個人會建議大家，如果有喜歡的產品，店家或網路有貨。就可以掃貨了。高爾夫球的狀況也是如此，目前球皮Surlyn的嚴重缺貨狀況，到明年第二季都不會好轉，就算有單也接不了。對一般球友來說，可以買一些球備著。現在有的貨，後面賣完就可能無法順利供給上。最好別認為用完再買，因為後面缺貨，等球的狀況是很有可能發生。

握把也是缺貨，一些桿身款式也有缺貨狀態，但目前有稍微好一些。不過，在疫情期間，很多狀況都可能改變。對於生產商和品牌商都很難去控制和掌握。球友們需要瞭解目前狀況，才能面對後續的產品供給不穩定狀況。當然對打球是影響不大，但你的裝備和工具就要好好的未雨綢繆，以備不時之需。

Since 2020, Covid 19 has been changing our life upside down. Now the advanced Omicron is getting serious. We will be taking vaccines every year or every 6 months in our life. However, golf is good for us to avoid the virus since it's outdoor and not people getting together for the activity.

There are more and more people jumping to golf in this year, golfers are buying equipment, tools and accessories without hesitation. That's why we are in golf club shortage as Asian manufacturers are having the labor shortage, lockdown and shipping delay. I have ordered golf clubs from Taylormade, Titleist and Callaway in this year, it takes a while to get it unless I stock some.

The order lead time takes 2 weeks to 8 weeks. Callaway is the short waiting period for ordering the golf clubs with 2 weeks or less, but other brands takes one to two months for sure. If you are trying to buy or customize your golf clubs, being patient is the only way!

The golf grips, some types of golf shafts are in shortage in 2021. Now the golf ball as well. The golf cover material surlyn is in big shortage from Asian golf ball manufacturers. The situation is going to be until the second quarter of 2022. Therefore, I would suggest golfers to stock some balls for 2022.

We need to be aware of the goods shortage becomes the normal and you should be well prepared to stock something first. Or if you have something to buy and there is the stock available, don't hesitate to grab it because it will be gone soon and the supply and procurement are going to take a while to arrive.
