3. 現實裡,多數球友擊球的面往往都不是方正的觸球,導致球的側旋變多,進而影響擊球的方向性和距離。所以今天桿身的核心在於以下三個因素;

I've been playing clubs and doing custom fittings for over 20 years now. I've constantly tested and used shafts from all different brands and specs, tweaking them personally to get the absolute best results. Today I just wanna share what I've learned about shafts over these 20 years—their role and characteristics.
In simple terms, the shaft plays a huge role in a club when it comes to control, performance (ball flight and roll-out), and forgiveness. It's actually more important than the clubhead in a lot of ways. So if you really want to improve those things, you gotta put real work into the shaft.
A lot of golfers—or even people in the industry—will tell you that using a premium shaft, especially the aftermarket ones sold directly by the shaft brands, will magically give you way more 'distance.' Why distance? Because for most amateur or weekend golfers, time is spent working overtime, not practicing. Gaining distance is the quickest way to drop scores. Plus, longer drives make you look like a beast among your buddies—it's a clear status thing. Hit 270+ yards off the tee? You're suddenly 'Super' level. Most guys are stuck at 210–230 yards, barely seeing the other guy's taillights. Who wouldn't be jealous?
Another big reason: to score well, you pretty much need distance. If your drives are under 250 yards, on most par-4s over 400 yards you're pulling out mid-irons or fairway woods. The longer the club, the harder it is to attack the green. No distance = you're just fooling yourself thinking you're playing well.
But is distance really all about the shaft? I say yes... and no. Here's my take in detail:
The biggest, hardest factor for distance is your own power—your swing speed. Faster swing = longer ball. So the fastest way to gain yards is improving your body, strength, and swing mechanics. Leaving the human side aside for a sec, when it comes to the club itself, the clubhead is the main source of energy hitting the ball—not the shaft! That's the core truth. Your body transfers power to the head, and the head's design turns that into ball speed, spin, and launch angle, which gives you your distance.
How club specs tie into distance. In that impact process I just described, the shaft doesn't directly hit the ball. But it plays a huge indirect role in energy creation and flight. The real key question is: how do you make sure the golfer consistently hits the sweet spot on the face for max flight and roll? That's 100% tied to the shaft. Most amateurs hit the hot zone (sweet spot area) less than 50% of the time. If you're missing the center, dreaming of big distance is pointless. Even with today's high-forgiveness, multi-material faces, off-center hits still lose you 10–20 yards easy.
In real life, most golfers aren't squaring up the face perfectly, so you get extra side spin, which kills direction and distance. That's why the shaft's real job boils down to three big things:
a. Control
b. Forgiveness
c. Flight characteristics
Hitting the sweet spot is king—it's not hype or marketing BS. Even with all the modern driver head tech, off-center hits still don't perform like center strikes.Control means your ability to actually use the club. Can you transfer your speed and power to the ball in the most efficient way during the swing? Getting your body to rotate properly is already super hard—now add controlling the club to hit at the right spot and time.
