球桿需要整體的一致性/Golf club weight feel needs to be consistent！~上集

球桿可以一支一支的做，但必須要整體的去看和規劃。因為當你下場打球，從開球台到果嶺，這當中你會更換不同球桿，而不同球桿需要讓你拿在手上可以有信心，用起來可以有一致性的感覺。所謂的一致性就是不同特性球桿都需要有一樣使用重量感、操控性。不是一樣的揮桿重量！

我觀察很多球友的球桿都有一個問題，就是桿子的一致性無法同調。從木桿到鐵桿、挖起桿和推桿，每一支球桿的規格、使用感覺都不一樣。才會導致你打起來無法輕鬆、簡單的去控制桿子和發揮動作。所以當我在訂製球友的球桿，會詢問很多球友使用問題。才會瞭解這個狀況和嚴重性。

多數球友對球桿的知識非常有限，所以找工坊技師來訂製，但目前市面技師的能力和專業都不足，導致裝起來的球桿讓球友使用很有挑戰性。就算這桿子可以發揮自如，但更換到其他球桿如鐵桿或挖起桿，球道木都不同規格。就無法持續好開球的效應。

為什麼會這樣？很大責任在技師本身。我也詢問過球友為什麼你要用這樣的球桿？多數人都說是技師裝的或推薦的產品和規格。當然我覺得有些細節是避重就輕，但技師本身的問題是核心。因為球友對球具瞭解有限下，基本就是技師在主導這個訂製的過程和產品推薦。

而多數球友雖然桿子是訂製，但還是用老方法在用訂製桿。就是去配合球桿。對我來說，訂製球桿需要時間去抓，球友對球桿的喜好和需求。因為多數狀況，球友對球桿瞭解有限下，很多需求是不懂也不知道。而技師的任務就是要去找出來。所以通常需要經過幾次的訂製經驗，才能瞭解球友對球桿的真相。

但這裏技師並沒有發揮他的專業和技術。反而技師還用原廠的規格去裝球桿。我聽了臉上掛三條線！要裝原廠的規格還需要你幹嘛？倒不如我直接下單到原廠的訂製部門，還可以裝我要的規格和桿身或握把。根本沒有原廠規格，這種避重就輕或便宜行事，實在不可取。

Once you decide to go for custom golf club, you need to look at the overall clubs. You can build the clubs one by one such as from driver, fairway, irons, wedges and putter. But you have to plan the overall golf club's specification consistency. Do not misunderstand it's the the same swing weight. It's similar swing feel for your golf clubs, pretty much similar feel when you swing the golf club.

I have made a number of custom golf clubs for golfers and find out there is an issue for golfers with custom golf club, the golf clubs of all types of clubs have different feel. With such differentiation you are unable to handle the clubs easily and smoothly when you switch the club type.

When you go to the golf course to play, you play driver in tee shot but use the irons or woods to play second shot, then use the putter or wedge to play the third shot. All the golf clubs you play need to be feel consistently with the same weight feel. The golfers are generally having various weight feel when you play different golf club type. As the result, you are unable to handle all the golf clubs well and the score would not be good for your expectation.

For such issue, the clubfitter needs to take the responsibility due to less fitting knowledge, experience and abilities. Why do I know it? Since many golfers check with me for customizing the personal golf clubs and I need to know what exact they need and their swing issues, I have to know their overall golf clubs specification and usage. I can find over 60% of them are not having the right specification for overall clubs.

The clubfitter needs to know product information and practical performance then recommend the right products for golfers to play. However, most of clubfitters are not actually playing the products and use the system or product information to fit the golfers. Eventually the golfers are unable to handle it well or change the swing to fit the golf club.

Or even the golf club is fit golfer's swing but the rest of the golf clubs are not with the similar swing feel, it will have the problems or mis-shot once switching to other golf clubs. Therefore, the golfers need to change or adjust the golf club specification one by one once you stick on one golf club's swing feel as the base.
