多數球友都認為，球桿就是買了以後，看各自的造化和修行。但其實是不對。當然要自己下功夫去練好動作，只是球桿也需要進行改善和調整，才能把一些問題給改善。當然對於一些大問題或產品零件的問題就不容易進行改善和調整。也就是說當問題是傷筋動骨的狀況，就不是小調、小改就可以解決。

這些桿子的調整包含，重量感的調整、長度的調整、角度的調整、或握把的調整。桿頭和桿身都是主幹和架構，很少可以進行調整去改變原本的調性。但多數的問題都可以藉由調整去讓桿子更為精化。不管這是二手桿、還是新球桿，甚至是訂製桿都一樣。有問題就是需要去調整和改善。

尤其是訂製桿更需要做訂製後的調整。因為使用者的使用反饋才是關鍵，這樣才能把球桿的特性與細節做得更貼近使用者的使用習性。但多數球友都會覺得這是小問題，就選擇自己靠動作去彌補或改善。當然問題不會不見，只是你要不要去在乎。
