下集開始。

我自己的經驗是,我維持我現在的體重為最大任務。因為年紀大了,實在不需要去提升重量,因為後作用會很難控制。加上年紀大後,身體的排泄、循環消化和運作都不如年輕。增加重量後有慢性疾病的風險就比較大。但我持續做健身和跑步來維持身體的肌肉強度和韌性。現在距離反而增加,沒有減少。

身體維持健身真的很煎熬,因為有時候身體累,不想做但還是要做。以我目前每隔一天做一次的健身30分,就有時還會覺得想偷懶一下。這就是人性的劣根性。非常難克服。而且不是說你做了健身幾個月就可以看到成果,如果像我這樣做的不多,時間也在30分,要有成效也要幾年時間。

有身體的基礎後,再配合球桿的調整,同時固定練習揮桿動作,久而久之,距離就可以看到成長。所以高爾夫是讓你玩不膩的運動,有很多活是你需要去耕耘和持續運作。當然一般人需要依據增加的時間和作息去調整和執行。但關鍵在持續!

當然身體健身好處不只在距離可以更遠,還有身體也比較健康和強壯。不容易生病和感冒。身體的調節能力更好,也比較不怕冷。養成運動健身的習慣後,都習慣走路,不開車。如果走路30分可以到的,就走路,不坐車。尤其在冬天,真的很有用。

所以說,人是最難克服的一個因素。因為它要花時間和精力去執行和維持。不像球桿或球,我可以花錢買最新或最好。人的核心在於維持。錢只是其中一小部分。做一天有一天的效果和成績。不進則退!所以我打高爾夫不單純是高爾夫,而是為了身體健康和四肢可以健全自如。你呢?

To me I have been controlling my weight as the first priority. When you pass 40, you have to control your weight instead of eating freely. I do jogging, golfing and work out to maintain my weight. It helps my body operate smoothly and efficiently. After years of excising, my distance of tee shot is 5 to 10 yards than my age 30s. That's the result of my hard works.

It's hard to do the work out consistently. Sometimes you just want to skip but I always tell myself, if I skip this time, I will skip more times later on. As a result, you must have strong mind to push yourself to do the work out for gaining good body shape and muscles.

I have been doing work out for 30 minutes per time with once per two days schedule. I can see the distance increased after years. It's not going to see the distance gaining after months of work out. It's long run and hard to consist for average golfers.

Human is hard to control, unlike golf clubs and golf balls. You can buy the new golf clubs with most advanced technology and materials, but to make yourself progress, you need to work consistently for years in order to see the positive results. That's the most difficult part in golf. It's not about the money but to ask yourself to work regularly and consistently.

After gaining the distance, my body is good without afraid of cold temperature. Since your body can work efficiently and face the outside environment changed quickly. Now I like to walk and it really helps my body excise. It becomes my habit and I love it!
