Ridgeview golf course review!~上集

今天和朋友約打在住的地方附近球場。Ridgeview 開車差不多8分鐘4公里多，超近。10點52分開球，到球場10:30分。朋友們也剛到，先去練一下推桿，然後就開球了。德州的夏天天氣都很熱。白天從8點以後就會到90多度/35度上下。今天打完後，回家看新聞時102度。難怪打起來特別累，也覺得頭脹脹的有點不舒服。應該是身體對高溫的自然反應。

今天整場打下來都沒有風，高溫加沒風真的有點累，但不會悶，因為濕氣沒有像台灣那樣高。只是今天打下來，身體都無法施展，尤其上半身都轉不起來。打得非常的吃力。沒有像上次打Westridge那樣舒服，雖然高溫但有風就不會累。其實在北德州（Plano是北德州）白天的溫度都差不多，所以不管是9點打，還是下午三點打都一樣的溫度。差不多。而且今天是週日，打的人也多，應該會打超過4個小時。

這個球場的風格我覺得很像台灣的球場風格。比如台中國際、幸福球場這類的球場。有難度，有挑戰。球場的果嶺和球道質量沒有Westridge的好，也沒有Heritage的好。但還是享受一場好球。朋友們一路喇賽快樂的一天。球道設計起伏和搭配樹林，讓視覺上產生一定的壓力。雖然我今天狀況不好，開球也是一擺一擺，收桿沒有做好，球都跑右邊但都不會出界。有一洞是直接打出界。

球道上也設計不少沙坑，給球友不少壓力，這邊是沒有什麼水池設計，但有不少樹林設計都是產生難度的地方。我們打藍梯，總長超過6500碼，所以也是要有距離實力，不然打起來會很吃力。尤其今天是這種高溫沒風的狀況。今天下沙3次，最後一次是18洞，第二桿打到果嶺旁邊的沙坑，到果嶺還有20碼左右，切出來直接滾進洞。算是今天最好的收尾。

它的果嶺都設計被沙坑包圍，而且果嶺面積不大，很多洞的果嶺都有地形的起伏。要推好是不容易。只是它們果嶺的質量不是太好，幾個洞的速度不一樣，推起來就忽上忽下。導致3個洞是3推。所以我打這個球場真的讓我感覺有點在打台灣的球場風格。沙子是中等的大小，切下去會有點硬，但球比較容易彈出來。這是比較好的地方。

Today I am playing Ridgeview golf course and it's close to my place with driving 8 minutes. The tee time is 10:30 in the morning but today is Sunday and should be finished over 4 hours since weekend has more golfers to play. The temperature is over 100 degree without winds that drives my body uncomfortable and hard to stay focus.

This golf course condition and challenge is not as good as Westridge and Heritage. There are many bunkers on the fairway and greens that make golfers play with high stress. The green is not big and condition is not good so the ball rolling is not stable. Since the high temperature my condition and play are not as good as my last round.

Although there is no water hazards but the difficulty is still there. The trees are designed to give golfers the visual challenges for accuracy. If your direction is slightly off the target, you will be hard to get your ball on the green. I lost 4 balls today since I shot straightly to the trees couple times and one ball is unable to find off the fairway.

there are 3 times my ball is landed on the bunkers next to the green. That's the reason why this golf course looks easy but actually you need to have good second shot accuracy in order to land the ball on the green. Otherwise, it's easy to find your ball on the bunkers. it's not hard to get out of the bunkers and my last bunker shot just rolls into the hole straightly.

That's a nice ending for today. Since the green speed for Ridgeview is different in some greens. That's why I can not make 2 puts for some holes. The condition of the greens is not as good as others. I would say it's not worth to play during the summer time for this course. The maintenance is not as good as other golf courses and lots of golfers play all the time. You can not expect the quality of the green in here.
